After having met the artist Vincent Van Gogh thanks to his letters "Letters to his brother Théo", I thank the person who led me to read "The Widow of the Van Goghs" written by Camilo Sanchez.
The author invites us to understand the work and life of Vincent Van Gogh through the feelings and experiences of Théo's wife, Johanna Van Gogh-Bonger. Understand Van Gogh through the relationship that the brothers formed. See it through a third person, Johanna, who, upon Théo's death, expresses her affects and her anger towards this relationship; then, little by little shares his poetic encounter with Vincent Van Gogh and finally understands the Love that unites them.
Creation does not result in a catalog of pictorial works by an artist, it is illuminated by the journey of a man or woman throughout their life.
