Artistic approach
Inspired by the spirituality of Kandinsky’s art,
The encounter with Kandinsky’s work, “The Spiritual in Art and Painting in Particular”, is striking! It puts words on the direction I want to give to creation. The attitude of the artist is essential: does he choose to please, to pay attention to the aesthetics of the moment or does he choose to engage in a process of creating truth, by taking the risk of not being recognized in the forms that are created? Because what matters is not the identification of forms or the interpretation of all these forms. What is paramount is their authenticity with the creator and the resonances they form in unity, born of an inner necessity felt by the artist. The creative process is inspired by this inner feeling connected to the soul, the universe and Nature, sources of creation. It becomes the creative process for the artist.
Pollock’s Freedom and the Abstract Expressionism Movement
My pictorial writing is not meant to be “thought”. It is personal, intuitive, felt, resonance, vibrations of the mind. It is freedom in the process of creation, because it is the freedom of the gesture that prevails and not the method. The subject is Self in what it is today towards what it really is.
Open my intuition to welcome and transmit
Openings that I work through meditation, by letting go and by experiencing life experiences, in order to be as pure as possible in my reception, to allow the passage of energies in gestures without rewriting them.
Be attentive to the inspired gesture
Exploration after exploration, door after door, between Earth and Heaven, the being, the body, the gesture, the medial tool and the pictorial sign harmonize to be one. Painting with the touch of fingers makes me enter into the pictorial gesture and the process of creation that operates the true gesture. It’s as if my feet were planted on the ground and my perception of reality no longer needed physical borders to travel...
"The starting point" feels like an invitation to the Instant on the web. It is a new start every time and made possible by the progressive stages of the creative process. The guided gesture, invisible to the eye, poses, intersperses, writes, chooses, rhythm. It is only after painting that I see. The supports (canvas, paper, color) are vehicles of sharing, resonance... Balance, framing has its own landmarks within each creation. It belongs to what arises. It is mystery. It is trust...
