The lines slide by themselves on paper and prefigure a first form, like the silhouette of a door or a new shore. Then comes the need to color inside the lines. The gestures, the rhythm of the colours, their variation resonate with the sound of an inner and inspired meditation." 

For several months, new forms appeared in my painter’s notebook. They came as an emergency to write, a serenity to feel... They soothe me, inspire me, guide me internally... They accompanied me from morning to evening in my daily meditations. Then, the notebook became a book, the support to welcome them. They came to life. The lines slipped like birthdays on paper. The gestures themselves punctuated what was to be born. I let them do and took great joy in seeing them appear. A peace settled in me. Colouring was obvious, a means of transport to connect with them and in me...
