La Fabrique de l'Imaginaire, a multi-arts school at the Espace Charles Vanel in Lagny-sur-Marne
The workshop is a space for meeting children and their creative universe. A time when the joy of the present moment offers freedom to the child to travel the world with ease and with his own creative language.
A big thank you to the entire team of Charles Vanel for their willingness to awaken.
From 18 September to 16 October 2024: Two workshops for children of 5/7years and 8/12 years, design and realization with all the children of an immersive filmed exhibition "Les Mondes de la Création".

The wonder
No matter how old we are, we have our own worldview.
The Child knows how to travel through the vast inner world. He has the keys to see with his heart and explore by letting go: he feels the spark, he lets himself be carried away by the joy of creating, of meeting in the welcome.
For adults, conventions have sometimes put this wonder in the background. It is enough to turn it on again.
The workshop we offer is a meeting between the child and his parent in the heart of wonder.
October 14, 2023: Parent-Child Workshop at the Studio, creative space for the educational activities of the Vincent Van Gogh Arles Foundation.
Individual creations then co-creation on a shared work parent-child.

"As a creator we have our own vision of the world. Connected to Self, our true being and Nature, our vision is deeper and more subtle. It lets us see and listen to the world through the fulgurance of gesture. Gesture, connected with our intuition, gives rise to a just and authentic touch. Touch where the gesture sees and is. The unaccustomed gaze finally follows with confidence. Our internalized vision is a language that transcends the boundaries of the visible or appearance and explores the world at the speed of a star with the vibratory chant that is ours. The gesture becomes an archet that composes at every moment a timeless melody that has its own truth..."
These two projects (Children and Adults) were born from the desire of the Vincent Van Gogh Arles Foundation, to carry out educational actions towards the general public, and from the meeting with Sophie Viguier, director of the Pedagogical Service, creating opportunities to bring the artist’s approach to children and adults in connection with a temporary exhibition. His sensitivity to art and the approach of the creator is perceptible in the way, openness to design and conduct the project together. I thank her for this gift!
In October, these two workshops were conceived in connection with the reception and mediation of a wonderful exhibition: "Action, Gesture, Painting", Women in Abstraction, a world history 1940-1970, in resonance with five works by Vincent van Gogh.
Exhibition from Saturday, June 3 to Sunday, October 22, 2023. This travelling exhibition is the result of close collaboration between the Whitechapel Gallery in England, the Kunsthalle Bielefeld in Germany and the Vincent van Gogh Foundation Arles.Curator: Bice Curiger, in collaboration with Julia Marchand and Margaux Bonopera.
Participants permeated by this exhibition were invited to experience the process of creation themselves with the artistic approach that drives me, in collaboration with the mediation team of the Vincent Van Gogh Arles Foundation.

"Capture the authentic expression of the person in the words or pictorial gestures that are born, like an instant photo, in resonance with it...
Each person is a free and original being that does not give rise to any judgment or comparison. She paints as she is, without trying to please, in a singular gesture. Through a spontaneous gesture painting, she dialogues with the voice of our soul.
Each work is an invitation to meet the inner color of the person in his creative uniqueness. It is also an opportunity to reconnect with our universality in all humility.
Share its color in complementarity of all others beyond differences, scales and codes...
Where colours call and meet, each colour is essential to the harmony of the world.
